4. Scylla Rock

Supossedly once the lair of the mighty sea-nymph-turned-monster Scylla. This rock sits on the tip of Italy at the point where Italy and Sicily are closest. Supposedly ancient mariners had to choose between the terrifying many headed serpent and the ship devouring whirlpool Charbydis. Many a sailor lost his life to the ravenous hunger of the vengeful cursed Scylla.
